With spring just around the corner, Burnaby Minor is gearing up for some big tournaments the weekend of March 19 to 23.
The Athletics 4 Kids Midget A tournament will be played at Burnaby 8-Rinks and some of the other Burnaby arenas. All proceeds from the event go to the Athletics 4 Kids charity, which helps provide financial assistance to local families who want to get their children involved in sports. Sharing the stage that weekend is the second annual Spring Blast Girls tournament, which will take place at Bill Coupland Arena. The event is open to Novice, Atom, and Bantam girls (although the Novice games will be held from March 24 to 25) and each team is guaranteed four games.
