Anyone looking for a little post-Christmas minor hockey action at a variety of age groups should check out the 26th annual Paul Coffey International Holiday Tournament, taking place from Dec. 27 to 30 at Westwood Arena (rinks one to five), at 90 Woodbine Downs Blvd. in Etobicoke.
The tournament will see action from teams from Minor Atom, Atom, Minor Peewee, Peewee, Minor Bantam, Bantam, Minor Midget, Midget Jr. (94) and Midget Sr. (93 and 94) and Under 21. All teams will play a minimum of four games, so there will plenty of action to check out over the holidays (Minor Atom to Midget ‘AA’ & Under 21 ‘AAA’).
One team to watch in various divisions will be the home team of the tournament, the Mississauga Jets, who skated off with the Minor Peewee and Minor Bantam championships last year.
