Review: 26th Annual Paul Coffey International Holiday Tournament

The Mississauga “AA” Jets soared throughout the 26th annual Paul Coffey International Holiday Tournament, held from Dec. 27 to 30 at Westwood Arena in Etobicoke.

The Jets made it to the finals in five different divisions – Midget, Minor Bantam, Minor Atom, Atom and Minor Peewee, and won the Minor Peewee Division, defeating the McFetridge Bullldogs by a score of 1-0.

The Ottawa Silver Seven and Humberview Huskies won the most division finals, with Ottawa waking the Minor Bantam and Minor Midget divisions and Humberview winning the Minor Atom and Bantam divisions.

The tournament winners are as follows:

  • Minor Atom – Humberview Huskies 3 Mississauaga Jets 0
  • Atom – Richmond Hill Stars 3 Mississauga Jets 0
  • Minor Peewee – Mississauaga Jets 1 McFetridge Bulldogs 0
  • Minor Bantam – Ottawa Silver Seven 3 Mississauaga Jets 2
  • Bantam – Humberview Huskies 7 Barrington Red Wings 1
  • Minor Midget – Ottawa Silver Seven 1 Ajax Knights 0
